The first phase of the ‘Inter-School Wireless Point to Point’ solution will interconnect the Ministry of Education in Dubai, the Al Nouf Girls School in Sharjah, the Umm-Ul-Quwain Educational Zone and the Al Mualla Girls School in Umm Al Quwain through an easily deployable network connectivity system. “This implementation marks an important milestone for the Ministry of Education and the entire formal education system of the UAE,” said Shaikha Kholood Al Qassimi, Director of Curriculum Department, MOE. “By adopting this ultra modern broadband connectivity technology, we are expecting to largely benefit from a highly secure system, which will promote a faster work process within different sites of the Ministry in various emirates,” he added.
This move aims to facilitate communication among students, parents and schools. The ministry’s web site also provides electronic services for all governmental schools and students, who can access the site to update themselves on the curriculum and exam samples.
