DUBAI - Filipino expatriates in the UAE are urged to support the Rock-Rockan in Dubai, a live concert by pop singer Rachel Ann Go, tomorrow at Al Nasr Leisureland Ice Skating Rink in Dubai.
Margie Lumagbas, producer of the concert, said on Tuesday that part of the proceeds would benefit two Filipino organisations that are assisting people from the Philippines in financial needs in the UAE - Filipino Expatriates Inc. (FILEX) and PEACE.
She said this is the fifth concert to be organised this year. The first four were led by Filipino artistes Jennifer Lee, Ella V., Roselle Nava and Maui Taylor.
Tickets for the concert range from Dh50 to Dh100 and are available at BF Showbiz Company, Mediacom and Marco Polo Hotel in Deira . The concert will start at 7pm and continue till midnight. The gates will open at 5pm.
In Abu Dhabi, tickets can be bought from Myrna Brown, secretary of FILEX, who can be contacted over the phone at 050-5610489.
