Telcos in the UAE have announced that they will offer Apple's latest releases - the iPhone XS and XS Max - this week. The two models comprise the upper half of Apple's iPhone lineup this year with the upcoming iPhone XR being the 'entry-level' model.
Both Etisalat and du are now offering both models on a preorder basis.
The iPhone XS is touted as the 'new generation of iPhone'. It has a 5.8-inch OLED display, running on the A12 Bionic processor and comes in three memory variants - 64GB, 256GB and 512GB. It has 12MP dual back cameras and a 7MP front camera and is both dust and water resistant. The XS Max on the other hand raises the stakes with a bigger, 6.5-inch OLED display.

Both Etisalat and du have unveiled their flexible payment options for both models. On Etisalat's website, their iPhone XS payment plan starts at Dh185 per month payable in two years. The 512GB variant of the XS costs Dh255 per month for two years or Dh463 per month for 12 months. The XS Max on the other hand starts at Dh210 per month for two years for the 64GB variant, with the 512GB XS Max costing Dh275 per month for the same term. Below are their full prices.

Meanwhile, Du is offering both models attached to their Smart Plans. The 64GB XS can be bought with their Smart Plan 150 for Dh320 per month or the Smart Plan 300 which costs Dh420 per month. Buyers only need to add Dh60 to either plan to get the 512GB XS. Plans for the XS Max on the other hand start at Dh340 per month (Smart Plan 150) and go up to Dh500 per month (Smart Plan 300).

The iPhone XS and XS Max will be available across the UAE on September 21.
