Haitham Al Habshi, Mohammed Nasser, Mosleh Al Harbi and Saeed Abdullah have developed and designed a simple, light-weight, low-cost car that can be used in airports and shopping malls.

The four students took more than five months to build the elegant, mini car that runs on petrol. Explaining the invention, Mosleh said, “We have built the car from the scratch and conceptualised the design and shape. This is a fuel-efficient car that can be used off-road, even in deserts.

We are planning to establish a business in building small cars and our next phase would be to build a fourwheel car, which would cost as less as Dh15,000.”
