Environment-friendly houses in UAE
ABU DHABI — The UAE is fully capable of implementing the idea of building environmentally friendly homes on a wide scale, especially that it has been witnessing a giant jump in urbanisation, Jürgen Grossmann, the German expert in building and construction, said.
In a lecture at the Information Affairs Office (IAO) of Shaikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, the German expert mentioned the possibility of using solar energy, which is abundant in the UAE to generate electrical power for homes and other buildings.
