The Dubai Police have helped an Asian man living in the US connect with his father, who stays in Dubai. The worried son had called the Raffa police station from the US, saying he wasn't able to get in touch with his father.
The police took down the details of the father's workplace and contacted his company. It emerged that he had been terminated from work. The police then tracked his residence, went there and told him about his worried son's SOS call.
The father told the police that his phone was damaged and hadn't repaired it. He said he did not contact his son and tell him about losing his job as he didn't want the son to be worried.
The police brought the father to the police station and made him talk to his son. In a sweet gesture, the police also repaired his phone.
