Drill to test emergency preparedness
DUBAI — Brigadier Dr Jasim Bel Rumeitha, Director-General of the Department of Operation Room and Head of Disasters Committee at Dubai Aviation Exhibtion 2005, have asked people not to panic on seeing unusual movement of emergency vehicles, police vehicles and ambulances at the Dubai International Airport and surrounding areas today.
Brigadier Dr Jasim Bel Rumeitha said the movements would be part of a drill to test the security and emergency equipment and to ensure if they can deal with emergency situations during the upcoming Dubai Aviation Exhibitions.
