DMC board reconstituted

DUBAI — His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, has issued a decree setting up a new board for the Dubai Media Corporation (DMC).

According to the decree, the new board will be headed by Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Ahmed Abdullah Al Shaikh is to be appointed as the DMC Managing Director. Other board members include Sami Da’en Al Dhamzi, Mona Al Mirri, Ahmed Obeid Al Mansouri, Joseph Ghassoub, Dr Amina Al Roustomani, Raja Al Morad, Abdul Kadir Obeid Ali and Faisal Abdullah Abdul Rahman.

The board shall, among other responsibilities, prepare the future working plans and strategies of the DMC, develop its structures, organs and cadres to enable them discharge the DMC’s noble mission perfectly in a way that would reflect positively on the UAE’s social, economic and civil achievements in a transparent and objective way.
