Dh4m for needy children’s fees

DUBAI — Acting on the directives of General Shaikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, the Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Charity and Humanitarian Foundation has allocated Dh4 million to be paid against academic fees for needy children.

The noble project which will meet the educational needs of needy and poor students, was recently approved by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the foundation

The deputy chairman said that this is the fourth time that the project is being implemented in Dubai and Northern Emirates. The total number of beneficiaries increased 34 per cent compared to last year with 3,000 school students studying in various classes benefiting from the project, he added.
