The second largest contract worth AED829 million was signed with the UAE’s Caracal Light Ammunition which will supply UAE- made ammunition of different types and calibers.
USA’s Raytheon won a contract worth AED 432.7 million with UAE Armed Forces to supply Bomb kits GBU12 and GBU58.
The list includes contracts with each of the following companies and contractors:
Airborne Systems; AED 27.7 million to provide satellite guided parachutes (GPAD); Darwish Bin Ahmed & Sons Group of Companies (DBA Group) which will provide vehicles worth AED 209 million, Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding Company (ADSB) which won a contract worth AED 265 million to provide technical upgrades to Baynunah ships; International Golden Group (IGG), to provide ammunition and military accessories worth AED 367.1 million; Rockwell Collins UK which will supply the strategic targeting system Firestorm worth AED 146.9 million; Al Fahad Smart Systems, with AED45.9 million contract to provide security devices and maintenance services worth AED 45.9 million; Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investments Co LLC (ADASI) with a contract worth AED 119.4 million to provide MX-10 cameras, air balloon systems, technical support and development of UAV’s; Al Ittihad Shipbuilding which will provide technical support worth AED 176.4 million for Al Falaj vessels; Beltech Company who will provide spare parts for Namut scope worth AED 59.6 million; Milipol , to provide precision equipment and devices worth AED 43.5 million; Al Jisr Company, to provide vehicle spare parts worth AED 12.6 million; Air Thales Systems, to provide missile maintenance worth AED 37 million; Incon Infrastructure Contracting, which won a AED 43.5 million contract to develop information technology networks; PT Ser Rejeki Isman, which will provide military uniforms, equipment and gear worth AED 9.4 million; C4 Advanced Solutions which will provide training worth AED 185 million; Thales Optronics, which will provide Camera devices worth 43.5 million to be installed on anti-tank rockets.
Major General Al-Ketbi also said the UAE Armed Forces expressed interest in buying precision-guided ammunition from Tawazun Dynamics, as well as 800 Nimr vehicles from Nimr Company, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s Tawazun Holding.
The value of the two deals are yet to be announced, Major General Al-Ketbi added.
