The reports highlighted how some people — who come to work in the UAE to improve their circumstances — turn greedy, not concerned at all about national security, while they violate the laws of the state which had provided them an opportunity to better their status in life.

The people who smuggled petroleum through boats did not observe that they polluted the creek of Ras Al Khaimah, which is considered the main source of water for the inhabitants of the emirate. They were not concerned about the health of people, but simply interested in their profits and how to gain money, regardless of the source.

Fears were expressed about the pollution of the creek, and that is exactly what happened, as desalination stations on the Creek were affected — the reason why there are no more patrols for the Coast Guards. The persons who are arrested should be deported from the country directly without any mercy or trial as they are already convicted.
