Creative summer fest for youths
ABU DHABI - A summer programme for Arab children from three-year old to18 years of age kicks off at Al Jimi Mall in Al Ain today. It will last until the end of August.
The programme, called Science/Technology/Engineering/Aerospace/Math (STEAM), will provide shows, and science booths, skyscraper design contests and much more for youth of all ages, and was funded by a grant from the Emirates Foundation.
"We chose Al Ain simply because we believe it's comprises creative, talented youth, yet largely underserved for these types of activities," said Lisa LaBonte, CEO of the Arab Youth Venture Foundation, which is sponsoring the programme.
