Causeway to link Abu Dhabi, Qatar
MANAMA — Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Attiya, GCC Secretary General announced at a joint Press conference with Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Bahraini Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister at the end of the GCC Summit here yesterday, that the UAE and Qatar have agreed upon the construction of a causeway that will link Abu Dhabi with Qatar.
For his part, Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak said that the building of the bridge between Qatar and Bahrain will begin soon, following the completion of necessary studies and the construction plans for this important and vital venture.
