Sewa carnival cars will also cover the eastern regions and other rural area.

The cars will be visiting all schools in various parts of Sharjah to educate the students about conservation and increase their awareness about importance of water.

“Large number of publications and pamphlets are being distributed among students and public as part of the awareness activities,” said Abdul Rahman Rashid Al Salman, Head of the Public Relations Section at Sewa.

Speaking to Khaleej Times, he added that the first stage of the water conservation campaign which started on June 11 had contributed a great deal to the efforts being made by Sewa to ensure uninterrupted supply of water, power and gas to the public.

The campaign no doubt has helped in stressing the importance of saving water and creating a balance between its production and consumption.
