The project will be executed in different phases and the main objective of numbering the roads is to serve the economic and business sectors in the best manner while ensuring that Ajman visitors can easily reach any destination in the emirate without facing difficulties.

Highlighting the significance of the project, Engineer Mohamed bin Omair, Director, Planning and Survey section, said the idea of numbering and coding Ajman roads came after receiving many complaints from visitors.

He said the municipality has responded to the suggestions and work is underway to number all the popular and old roads of the emirate in order to ensure easy access. amira@khaleejtimes.com
