Ajman Ruler pardons 58 prisoners
AJMAN – His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Ajman, has pardoned 58 prisoners of different nationalities for showing good conduct while serving their jail terms at the emirate’s Punitive and Correctional Establishments.
The gesture marked the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
Those convicted of deportation will be deported.
The Ruler hoped the released prisoners would lead a good life.
Director of Ajman Police Brigadier Ali Alwan said Sheikh Humaid’s pardon underlines his care to grant those pardoned inmates an opportunity to be good citizens and reunite with their families.
“Measures to release the pardoned prisoners will be initiated
immediately,”he added.
