The ambassadors of Japan and Australia were working shoulder to shoulder with volunteers from private firms and social centres as well as fishermen and students.

The campaign increased the awareness of the issue among the community members and people from different cultures mingled with each other to make the drive for a cleaner Abu Dhabi a success.

The types of trash collected included empty bottles, plastic bags, food waste, dead fish, general plastic items (specially plastic cups), wood, netting and rope.
