A man inadvertently streamed a mass shooting on Facebook Live. He initially thought that the people were simply dancing in the street.
The video, which was captured by Bubba Hinson shows a man opening fire at a crowd and wounding six people in the process. The shooting occurred in South Carolina's Myrtle Beach area.
According to the New York Post, Hinson said: 'I always wanted a viral video, but I never wanted it to be like this'.
A volunteer firefighter, Hinson said that he saw a large group of people blocking traffic at around 12:25 am and started streaming the gathering on his Facebook page - he thought they were dancing. Instead, a man pulled out a gun and started shooting which made the huge crowd disperse.
The gunman was later caught by police.
