A bromance seems to be brewing on Twitter between the UAE's Hope Mars Mission and Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) - and Twitterati are loving it.
A little after the UAE's 'Al Amal' orbiter made history on Monday with a successful launch into space to study the Red Planet, Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which manages many of the space administration's robotic missions exploring Earth, the solar system and the universe, put out a message of encouragement in honour of the trailblazing mission.
"Good luck, @HopeMarsMission as you begin your journey to the Red Planet! We can't wait to see you out there, and are proud to carry communications for your mission via the Deep Space Network," it read.
