After what seemed to be like a snub at the Nobel Prize, Bob Dylan has finally accepted the prestigious award according to a recent report by the Nobel Foundation.
Dylan reportedly called the Swedish Academy this week. 'The news about the Nobel Prize left me speechless, I appreciate the honor so much.' he said to Sara Danius, the Permanent Secretary of the Swedish Academy.
When asked the big question about whether he will accept the prize, the artist responded: 'If I accept the prize? Of course.'
However, it is still unclear whether Dylan will be attending the awards ceremony this December at Stockholm due to being on tour. But the artist has expressed his interest in receiving the award from King Carl XVI Gustaf in an interview with the Telegraph: 'Absolutely... If it's at all possible.'
