His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has sent cables to the rulers and heads of state of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Dubai Ruler expressed his wishes of health and happiness and for their peoples' continued progress and prosperity. He also wished for the Arab and Islamic nations pride, honour.



Sheikh Mohammed on the other hand, received cables of congratulations on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan from His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman; His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain; His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco; His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi of Egypt; His Excellency President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria.
His Highness also received cables of congratulations from His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait and His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs in the Sultanate of Oman.
