Imagine being slapped for slackness! That's what exactly happened in Yichang, Hubei Province (China) as the manager of a real estate company smacked the agents for being unable to meet their targets. What's more, the 'slap in the face' punishment was chosen by the under-performers themselves. In fact, they reportedly begged for it.
The six male workers were flayed for their 'slack attitude' at the office and got asked to come up with a solution, reported Mailonline.
The video - which went viral after being shared among local messaging groups on WeChat - shows workers standing in a row and being slapped by a female manager in the face one by one. The clip has also been shared and posted on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform.

Mr Hu, who works at the real estate company, was quoted as telling Huanqiu.com that the video was filmed during a monthly appraisal meeting in April. According to him when the female manager asked the agents to decide on a punishment to improve their performance, they came up with the slap solution. They repeatedly implored with Zhang, the manager, before she smacked them.
There was a huge outcry against the video, with web users hitting out at Zhang for the unsavoury punishment. She had to quit after she came under fire for the physical assault.
