The President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the Independence Order (First Class) upon Chang Hua, the Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, in appreciation of his efforts in strengthening the bilateral ties between the UAE and China in all fields.
Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presented the Order to the Chinese envoy at a meeting in his office today, at the ministry.
Shaikh Abdullah congratulated the ambassador on receiving the Independence Order from the UAE President and wished him success in his future tasks. He also commended his efforts to enhance ties between the UAE and China in all domains.
The Chinese Ambassador expressed his appreciation to the UAE President for awarding him the prestigious medal. He commended the wise policy of the leadership, citing the UAE's leading regional and international status.
Hua also extended his thanks to the officials and competent authorities in the country for their co-operation during his tenure.
