His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced a two-day retreat to capitalize the energy and ideas of the nation's young people. In a series of tweets on his official Twitter account, Shaikh Mohammed noted that the event will be held under the hashtag #TheNationalDialogueOnYouth.
"We want ideas and suggestions on the attached tag. I will hold two-day retreat next week with officials and young people to discuss all ideas," he said.

"The youth make up the majority of this nation and taking care of them is caring for our future, and helping them grow and develop helps the nation develop and prosper," he tweeted. "We are a young nation and we are proud of our youth."
Shaikh Mohammed said that over the coming days "we are planning to focus on the youth. Their dreams, ambitions and challenges."
"During the youth retreat next week, we will call all of the bodies concerning the youth file and owners of creative and positive thoughts are invited to this national dialogue on youth," he said.
He specified that there were a number of questions he wanted addressed through the retreat.
"What are the values we want for our young men and women? and how to raise their productivity? and enhance their culture? and achieve their ambitions and dreams?" he tweeted.
"What do we want from the young, and what do the young want from us? How can we support them and enable them to do their part towards the country."
