Leaders share grief of Japan and Ecuador

Abu Dhabi - In his message to Tsugunomiya Akihito, the Emperor of Japan, Shaikh Khalifa expressed his sympathy on the earthquake that killed many people. A similar cable was sent to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

 The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent cables of condolences to Japan and Ecuador in the wake of recent earth quakes that struck the two nations.
In his message to Tsugunomiya Akihito, the Emperor of Japan, Shaikh Khalifa expressed his sympathy on the earthquake that killed many people. A similar cable was sent to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. In his message to President Rafael Correa of Ecuador, Shaikh Khalifa expressed his sympathy to the victims' families, and wished a quick recovery of those  injured.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces also sent similar cables to the Japanese emperor, PM and Ecuador president.
