Dh335 million housing loans and grants for Emiratis

The Zayed Housing Programme (ZHP) has approved the names of 679 UAE nationals entitled for housing loans and grants worth Dh335 million.
Of these beneficiaries, 552 will receive loans, while 127 others will receive grants.
The move follows the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and the follow-up by Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
This came during the Board of Directors' meeting chaired by Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works, held at Saint Regis Hotel at Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi.
"The announcement of names of the new beneficiaries reflect the keenness of our wise leadership to ensure better living conditions, and harness all resources for the welfare of citizens," Dr. Al Nuaimi said.
Eng. Jamila Mohammed Al Fendi, director-general of the ZHP, said the criteria used in selecting beneficiaries is determined by the residential needs of applicants after the fulfillment of conditions that specify the value of residential support. -Wam
