RTA gets 4,077 brilliant ideas from Shaikh Mohammed's smart majlis

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has received a string of brilliant ideas thanks to the initiative launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, entitled  'Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis Initiative'.
As many as 4077 ideas and improvement observations have been received so far which include 3478 ideas and 599 improvement observations. 4040 cases have been addressed, and 3447 ideas & ??593 development observations have been signed off in 4 business days instead of 10 business days targeted by the Executive Council, where the viable ideas & observations have been sorted out.
Ahmed Mahboub, Director of Customer Service, at RTA's Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, said: "RTA follows up and pays utmost attention to all  the ideas & improvement observations received since the launch of Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Majlis Initiative in order to bring happiness to people according to the 3^rd and 8^th RTA's strategic goals. The step is also intended to measure up to the drive of our prudent government; as signing off ideas & observations in 4 business days instead of 10 as targeted by the Executive Council  which reflects RTA's keenness through its internal team to expedite the follow-up process of the ideas received from Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis."
"RTA follows up all ideas and observations received from the Majlis, and a dedicated working team examines all innovative ideas and improvement observations, which would contribute to upgrading RTA's services on offer to customers. RTA spares no efforts to communicate with its customers, be it citizens, residents, tourists or visitors to Dubai, so as to screen their aspirations, identify needs, and heeds to their viable and non-viable ideas, which would be subjected to thorough scrutiny  and render them all feasible & executable that contributes to the advancement of our services.  RTA has plans in hand to realize customer expectations regarding the services on offer, and even anticipates their future needs & aspirations," added Mahboub.
"The Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Majlis Initiative has opened wider prospects for us to receive the largest possible number of ideas and improvement observations, which we accord our utmost attention to realize the objectives of the initiative. The ultimate goal is to achieve the objectives of our prudent government in leveraging the government performance and bringing it at world-class standards in serving customers and brining happiness to people," concluded Mahboub.
