Remember the 'Burg Khalifa'? The 24-carat gold burger that was available in Dubai a couple of months back? It made headlines for how expensive and large it was - can't name a burger after the world's tallest building without being tall, right?  It was talked about for its price, too. The Dh250 price-tag was a little steep (pun intended) for some residents even though it looked finger lickin' good.
But what if we tell you that you can get a gold burger for half the price of the Burg Khalifa?
Because that's what Dubai restaurant 24 Karat is offering for those who want to have a luxurious culinary experience without burning a hole in their pocket.
In a video posted by ATUM, the Famous Gold Burger as it is called by the restaurant is showcased. According to the video, the burger takes 12 hours to prepare and is made with Milanese veal, Stracciatella cheese and crispy potato spirals.
To top it off, the burger is finished with 24k gold leaf. The price, you ask? Just 'only' Dh98 - a far cry from the Dh250 Burg Khalifa. Other than the price, the Famous Gold Burger is also readily available at the restaurant which is located in Marriott Al Jaddaf.
