Ajman - A massive fire that erupted during early hours of the morning

Ajman Civil Defense has managed to control a massive fire that erupted during early hours of the morning at a fabric warehouse in the industrial area of Ajman. No causalities have been reported.
Brigadier Ali Saeed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Ajman Civil Defense said that after they received a call at the operation room on Friday at 12am, a team of firefighters was dispatched as quick as possible.
The fire team included fighters from headquarter Al Jarf, industrial area station as well as support team from Sharjah civil defense.
The team worked hard in controlling the fire to prevent it from reaching the neighboring building in the vicinity. The dousing operation took two hours and followed by cooling operation which continued till Sunday morning.
After the fire was put off, the site was handed over to the police in order to carry out the investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
Brigadier Ali Saeed Al Suwaidi urged the owners of warehouses, factors and works shops in industrial areas to follow the safety procedure particularly the one related to proper storing of goods to ensure the safety of the workers and prevent loss of properties.
