Just days after the ill-fated PIA flight crashed into a mountainside in Pakistan, a Facebook page trolling a popular Pakistani newspaper is causing a lot of fury online. The 'fake news' page claiming to be 'The Express Tribune' posted on December 8:
"Inter Service Intelligence ISI clarify Junaid Jamshed was wearing a suicide belt in flight... He was a covert undercover agent working for India."

The post has garnered thousands of comments and shares from shocked Facebook users. While many fell for the prank, there were others who wanted to report the page for being disrespectful to the deceased.
"Kindly report this page guys. Someone else is operating this page. Report as violence. Each one of you," commented a Facebook user. There were a slew of other reactions.

Junaid Jamshed, a Pakistani pop star turned evangelical Muslim cleric, was on board the aircraft that crashed into a mountainside on Wednesday. His name appeared on a passenger manifest for Pakistan International Airlines' (PIA) flight PK661, which crashed near the northern town of Havelian. His presence on board was confirmed by Sohail Ahmed, a PIA official in Chitral.
Jamshed rocketed to fame in Pakistan in the 1980s and 1990s as the singer for the Vital Signs rock group, and later launched a solo career, with a string of chart-topping albums and hits.
Jamshed retired from music in 2001 and announced that he was devoting his life to Islam, joining the conservative Tableeghi Jamaat religious organization.
According to his official Facebook page, Junaid Jamshed was in Chitral with friends.
