American reality TV star, businesswoman and model, Kim Kardashian West has rescheduled her Dubai visit for a makeup master class to January 13.
The recent development comes after Kim was robbed at gunpoint at a Paris hotel by assailants disguised as police who made off with millions, mainly in jewellery, French authorities and her representative said Monday (October 3).
Paris police said the loss amounted to "several million euros, mostly jewellery," adding that they were still assessing the total amount stolen and had opened an investigation. A spokesperson for the celebrity had earlier described her as "badly shaken but physically unharmed" after the assault, which occurred late on Sunday. The spokesperson said that "two armed masked men dressed as police officers" entered Kardashian's hotel room and held her up at gunpoint, IANS reported.
The representative gave no further details, nor did the person say whether the incident was an attempted robbery or had another motive.
Kim, 35, was planning on traveling to Dubai with her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic to do a makeup demonstration on October 14.
Dedivanovic took to Instagram to announce the postponement:

On hearing the news, Kardashian's husband, rapper Kanye West, abruptly ended a festival appearance in New York citing a "family emergency."
Kardashian, one of the most identifiable US celebrities, has been appearing prominently at Paris fashion week.
The TV star is reportedly blaming herself for the robbery.
Since returning to the US and being reunited with her children in New York, a source tells PEOPLE that the mother of two is taking the blame for showcasing her ring on social media.
"Kim's in shock and blaming herself. She's tearing herself up that she Snapchatted the ring so much and wore it all the time. This incident is making her question everything. How she dresses, what she does," a source close to the Kardashian family tells PEOPLE.
"Kanye wants to buy her the ring again but she just says she doesn't want to think about it. He says he wants everything to go back to normal and for the incident to not affect their lives," the source adds.
