Update: LinkedIn.com is up and running after being inactive for a while.
LinkedIn, the social network for professionals was inaccessible to some users. This outage comes in only a few days after it was bought by Microsoft for a whopping $26.2 billion in cash.
Many users have reported the 503 error that states, "The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request." On the other hand, some have received a better error message saying that the company's getting "things cleaned up" and that "we'll be back soon."

While the website seems to have hit a snag, the mobile app is working just fine. However, a few users have complained about the app crashing too.

The news of Microsoft Corp agreeing to buy LinkedIn Corp hit stands on June 13. A tweet posted by the company on June 16 read, "Some members may be experiencing issues with our site. Our team is working hard to resolve. Stay tuned."
It's June 23 today, and the site is down again. To this, a twitter user said, "The Microsoft magic is already apparent at LinkedIn."
It's not the first time the LinkedIn website has been down.
