Kimoha Group

Investing in innovation and employees welfare, Kimoha Group has come a long way since its establishment in 1988 in Dubai, long before the JAFZA community opened its gates to businesses across the world.
Initiated by Chairman Kiran Asher, Managing Director Vinesh Bhimani and his wife, the company's success story began in Jebel Ali with 140 square feet of rented space followed by the invention of a telex and fax rolls conversion machine, which was built in India and introduced to the UAE in the early 1990s. The device manufactured approximately two million running metres of paper that serviced local and international markets, including Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Europe.
Since then, Bhimani himself has played an active role in meeting the needs of a growing nation, while building a network of regional and international contacts. Kimoha Group has grown from a small rented area to an independent facility that spans an area of 180,000 sq ft.
According to him, the Kimoha Group has served as a pioneer of change and transformation, with a strong forte in the manufacture, supply and distribution of labels such as pressure sensitive labels, tags and tickets, custom carry handles as well as flexibles such as shrink sleeves and wraparound labels. Extending its reach to over 15 industries, it further caters to the needs of the aviation sector, notably with Dubai International Airport and Emirates airline, with baggage tags, RFID tags, boarding passes, security stickers, revenue documents and other forms in line with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), as well as labels such as for in-flight items, catering, and seat charts, to name a few.
Other industries served to date are fast-moving consumer goods, dairy, cargo and logistics, supermarkets and retails, hospitals and healthcare, chemical, edible oil, exhibition and events, entertainment, garments; lube, gas and petroleum; metals, perfumes, jewellery, poultry, confectionary, electronics, beverages and water; and pharmaceuticals.
The organisation has taken careful measures to incorporate the green factor across its operations, products and solutions, which include reducing carbon emissions and waste, promoting energy-savings and adopting eco-friendly materials. Among these are the carbonless paper rolls, solvent-free printing, sourced recycled and environment-safe raw materials, and reduced carbon footprint by 17 per cent after switching from ?1.7 mm to 1.14 mm photopolymer plates.
A notable achievement is the facility itself, which is a LEED Gold-Accredited establishment acknowledged by the US Green Building Council, besides earning the Green Middle East Award for Environmental Excellence 2012 under the Green Building Design Category.
Kimoha respects and follows the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in innovation, sustainability and saving Mother Earth by preserving the environment in all spheres of its dealings with stakeholders.

Role model for employeeS well-being
The activity scope of the Kimoha Group goes beyond commercial goals, as it extends a helping hand to the community, its employees and their families.
"We ensure that our ideas come from the ground level, not the top. We have dedicated rooms where we encourage everyone to start the day with a prayer that accommodates members of all religions, celebrate birthdays, organise health awareness campaigns, and acknowledge ideas that contribute to the betterment of our operations," said Bhimani.
The level of interaction with employees across departments is intimate, as Bhimani is present during every morning meeting and ensures each employee is valued for his or her contribution to the organisation. In addition, their families are taken care of across many streams, ranging from medical coverage to educational assistance.
