The temperature in Dubai is expected to fall tomorrow, with rain hitting parts of the UAE, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
Dubai is expected to have a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius and could see scattered rain due to heavy cloud formations.
In a series of tweets, the NCMS issued warnings to motorists to stay away from valley areas and to drive with caution in the rain.
Emirates News Agency Wam said: "The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, is urging motorists to be cautious due to possible rain over various areas of the country.
"In a statement on Monday, the NCMS said that the weather will be cloudy at times, with a chance of light rain especially over coasts, islands and some northern and eastern areas. Moderate winds in general, freshening at times in case of any cloud activity, will cause blowing sand and dust over exposed areas. Seas will be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and rough in the Sea of Oman.
"Tomorrow the weather will again be partly cloudy, with cloud cover increasing gradually, leading to a chance of scattered rainfall. Moderate to fresh winds in general will become stronger at times, especially over the sea, causing blowing sand and dust and poor visibility over exposed areas. Sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman."
Meanwhile, residents took to Twitter to express their concerns with the unpredictable weather.
A resident with the Twitter handle Afrorespect tweeted: "Dubai is so unpredictable when it comes to the weather. It's been hot for the past week and now it's windy like a hurricane is about to come."
Another Twitterati, Surena, said: "I've lived in Dubai for 12 years and I'm pretty sure these past few months are the strangest weather we've had."
Another resident, Ashwin Fernandes, tweeted: "Someone needs to tell this gloomy weather in Dubai that it is #InternationalDayOfHappiness today.
