As millions of residents and tourists welcomed the New Year in Dubai earlier this week, there were a few 'wild creatures' who also rang in the New Year - not at a club - but with a leisurely stroll down the city's iconic beach.
Earlier this week, videos of exotic tigers playing and prancing around Dubai's beach near Burj Al Arab caught the fancy of many Instagram users.
The videos were posted by 'LatifaalMaktoum', a member of the Dubai royal family. A verified account, her display picture shows a young His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler, holding a baby in a yellow dress.
The videos shows the 'exotic pets', including white tigers and Bengal tigers walking along the shore with their handlers on a foggy day.
The profile boasts of 164,000 followers and 2,567 posts, which are mostly about Latifa's exotic pets, including lions, orangutans, leopards among other exotic animals.
