The 12th round of the Arabian Gulf League will enthral the fans with the top of the table clash between leaders Al Wasl and second-placed Al Ain at Zabeel Stadium on Friday.
Both sides have 25 points each with Al Wasl sitting on top thanks to their goal difference. So it's going to a cracker of a contest between the two best teams of the league as both teams will look to take all three points.
Meanwhile, Al Nasr, Al Jazira and Shabab Al Ahli are fighting for a chance in the top four while Ajman, Sharjah and Dibba look to move into the upper mid-table. Finally, it is Al Dhafra, Emirates and Hatta who will be looking for positive results to move away from the relegation zone.
The first game of the 12th round will be played between Hatta and Shabab Al Ahli at the Hamdan bin Rashid Stadium on Thursday.
Shabab Al Ahli, who are in sixth place with 15 points, will be looking for a victory after failing to register a single win in their last seven matches.
Hatta, on the other hand, will be aiming for a third win of the season to move up from the tenth place they currently occupy with eight points.
In a relegation battle six-pointer, Al Dhafra welcome Emirates at the Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium. The Falcons are in last place with seven points.
The last match of Thursday night will be between Al Nasr and Sharjah at the Shabab Al Ahli Stadium in Al Awir. The Blues are in fourth place with 17 points, while Sharjah have ten points in ninth place.
Meanwhile, Al Wahda travel to Fujairah to play Dibba on Friday at the Fujairah Stadium in a bid to catch Al Ain and Al Wasl at the top of the table. Sitting in third place with 23 points, the Clarets face a tough task against eighth-placed Dibba, who are unbeaten at home with two wins and four draws.
Ajman host Al Jazira in the second match of the night at the Rashid bin Saeed Stadium, with the defending champions looking to bounce back after a thrashing at home to Al Wahda which put them back in fifth place with 16 points. The Oranges will want to get closer to Al Jazira, as they sit just four points behind them in ninth place.
