Garnacho and Mainoo were two of United's bright sparks in a disappointing season in which they finished a worst-ever eighth in the Premier League era

We are living in 21st century but are we truly modern in our thinking? I feel, there are still two tribes surviving with different views on women who work and their earnings compared with their husbands.
In earlier days, wives would consciously downplay their earnings as to not hurt the male ego. If the insecure man feels insulted in any way, he will lash out and pick fights. Men of substance on the contrary are proud of their wives and their accomplishments.
But societies are evolving now. I feel men are changing and accepting the fact that it is a woman's choice whether to work or not. Moreover, in the competitive world that we live in necessitates more family members to earn.
But women need to be supported. They are going out and working, competing fiercely in a man's world, but they continue to shoulder much of the responsibility at home. They might even be primary breadwinners in households, yet they are also the prime caretakers. This attitude needs to change. Men should share responsibilities at home. By sharing each other's burden and anxieties, we will have more choices and options to plan for a better future.
