The tournament, held at the Seven Seas Cricket Ground at DIP, was organised by Seven Seas Sports Club under the auspicies of Dubai Cricket Council. The tournament was sponsored by Shijna Trading Est. and all prizes were donated by Shijna Trading Est.
In the final match, Yogi International produced an all round performance and defeated Seven Seas by seven wickets. Batting first Seven Seas were all out for a moderate 185 runs in 24.1 overs. Tariq and Usman remained the top scorers with 55 and 29 respectively. Ajmal stood out among the bowlers with four wickets, while Salman came second with three.
Chasing the target, Yogi Group started off well with Avadoot and Shaimon scoring 45 and 35 respectively. The team was led by ace batsman Swapnil who scored 54 with six fours and one six. Losing just three wickets, Yogi Group achieved the target of 189 runs in 22 overs.
None of the Seven Seas bowlers were impressive with Shafaqat being the leading wicket-taker with his 2/30 figures.
After the final, Shameer Ahmed of Shijna Trading distributed the prizes and promised to continue the tournament in future.
