The announcement was made at a Press conference held in Ras Al Khaimah.
Humaid Al Suwaidi, General Manager of Etisalat, Ras Al Khaimah region and Hamad Rahma Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of Ras Al Khaimah Department of Economic Development and the General Coordinator of Awafi Festival attended the Press conference.
The Awafi Festival has over the years become a popular spring festival that celebrates the emirate's ethnic and cultural heritages through performances, cultural displays and outdoor sports events held at the Awafi area of RAK.
