One more superstar is added to the line-up of artists performing during the 2016 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula One race.

Race organisers on Wednesday announced Grammy award-winner Pitbull will kick off the Abu Dhabi GP weekend at the du Arena on November 24 with his global number one-selling hits. 
The American rapper will join a packed list of artists during the Yasalam After-Race Concert in Yas Island.

UK's electronic duo The Chemical Brothers will perform on November 25, music legend Lionel Richie on November 26 and pop superstar Rihanna wind up celebrations on November 27, making this arguably the best ever.
Yas Marina Circuit CEO Al Tareq Al Ameri said Pitbull adds more value to F1 ticket.

"Our aim is to put on a bigger and better race every year for our local fans and the thousands of people who visit the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from more than 170 countries. We are delighted to include Pitbull in the star-studded line-up of Yasalam after-race performers, adding even greater value for all F1 ticket holders and making Thursday one of the best days of race weekend for all-round entertainment. Pitbull over a decade has released nine studio albums, more than 80 singles, and achieved a host of number one hits including Give Me Everything, Timber, and the Fifa World Cup anthem We Are One (Ole Ola). He has won two Grammy Awards and has collaborated with the biggest names in pop music, including Usher, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. 
FLASH Entertainment CEO John Lickrish said: "Yasalam is the largest entertainment festival in the region and the eighth edition is ramping up to be another unmissable experience. This is the first year we have confirmed an international artist for the Thursday After-Race Concert."

November 24 is also the opening day of the F1 Village, which features a range of interactive entertainment for all to enjoy including Public Pit Lane Walk and autograph signing.
