Brazilian and Euro clubs set for Hamdan U17 soccer

 Top flight soccer returns to the UAE when the eight-team Hamdan bin Mohammed sixth international championship for under 17 developmental club sides, takes place from April 8 to 17 at the Dubai Police Officers' Club stadium near the Jadaf drydocks.
Four top rated foreign sides - Real Madrid CF (Spain), Dortmund (Germany), SC Internacional (Brazil) and Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal will vie for championship honours along with the four Dubai outfits namely Al Nasr, Al Ahli, Al Wasl and Hatta. Group A consists of Dortmund, Al Hilal, Hatta Club and Al Wasl while in Group B action, Real Madrid CF, SC Internacional, Al Nasr and Al Wasl will lock horns.
The tournament was formally announced at a media gathering at the Movenpick Hotel in Dubai, on Thursday. Dubai Sports Council, the tournament organisers, presented a video clipping of the past five editions of the event with Ali Ahmed, Ahmed Salem and Ahmed Ebrahim providing additional details.
Paris St Germain (France) won the inaugural event in 2010 followed by Lega Pro (Italy) in 2012, Valencia (Spain) in 2013 and 2014 and AC Milan (Italy) last season.
