Eid Al Fitr holidays begin in Saudi

Saudi Arabia has already announced a Eid Al Fitr vacation, starting 10 days before Eid.
Keen to make whatever brings happiness to his people, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, today directed Eid Al Fitr vacation for civil and military government sector personnel, previously scheduled for the end of the working day of Monday corresponding to 24/9/1438 H, Spa reported today.
The break will start as earlier as the end of the working day of Thursday (June 15) corresponding to the 20th of Ramadan 1438 H, as per Ummal Qura calendar.
Accordingly, all civil and military government officials will enjoy next Sunday and Monday as days off.
Earlier this week, the Federal Authority for government human resources announced that Eid Al Fitr holiday for federal ministries and authorities in the UAE will begin on Saturday, 29th Ramadan (corresponding to June 24).
