Egypt President Sisi to embark on tour of UAE, India and Bahrain

Cairo - Spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency Alaa Youssef said President El Sisi will start his foreign tour with a visit to the UAE.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will embark on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, on three-nation trip which will take him to the UAE, India and Bahrain, national news agency Wam reported today.
Spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency Alaa Youssef said President El Sisi will start his foreign tour with a visit to the UAE within the context of continuous joint consultations and coordination between the two countries.
''Talks in Abu Dhabi will centre on ways of further strengthening the distinguished bilateral ties in a way that bolsters existing strategic cooperation in light of regional challenges the region is experiencing and which requires prompt measures to confront risks threatening Arab national security, particularly amidst spreading terrorism and extremist ideology,'' he added.
From Abu Dhabi, the spokersperson said El Sisi will head to India where he will attend the 3rd India-Africa Forum Summit and hold talks with his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi before he returns to Bahrain where he will confer with HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on regional challenges and terrorism.
