Moderate to heavy rainfall has been experienced in Kalba area along with a downpour over the Fujairah airport.

According to the NCMS, moderate to heavy rain has also been seen in Dibba.
Heavy rainfall is seen to reduce visibility on the roads.
Parts of the UAE were covered with mist in the wee hours of Thursday, particularly Liwa, according to the national met department (NCMS).
The weather forecast for today is partly cloudy in general, becoming cloudy at times over some eastern and northern areas, with a chance of some rainfall over those areas today and over the weekend.
Light to moderate winds, freshening at times eastward.
Temperatures will reach a minimum of 7°C and a maximum of 28°C.
The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal areas.
Sea will be moderate in Arabian Gulf and rough to very rough in the Oman sea.
