Al Dhanhani was a graduate of the Navy College and was conferred the rank of First Lieutenant. The 24-year-old Al Dhanhani was laid to rest at Al Imam Al Bukhari graveyard in the Qidfa neighbourhood, north of Fujairah city, on Saturday.
Emiratis and other residents flocked the funeral prayers of the unmarried serviceman with the UAE Armed Forces, who was the eldest in the family of five. Al Dhanhani's family received the sad news of his martyrdom on Saturday morning.
Though it was unexpected for the family members, they felt pride for he had devoted his life for the nation in protecting justice, right, and peace.

Juma Ali, paternal uncle of the martyr, said that Al Dhanhani last visited his family ten days ago.
"The martyr has never broken up any contact with his family. He has been communicating with his mother and members of his family to calm them and reassure them about him," he added.
Saeed, another paternal uncle said that Al Dhanhani is the first martyr of the family, adding that he was interested in charity works and always looked after his parents.
"We are all at the order of our country's visionary leaders and fulfill any order they ask us to do," Saeed said.
