International Community School hosts graduation ceremony

In a proud moment for the International Community School (ICS) in Abu Dhabi, a group of 77 students received their diplomas at a ceremony hosted in the Armed Forces Officers Club here recently.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Abdullah bin Butti Al Hamed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was attended by Mohammad Salem Al Dhahri, Executive Director of School Operations at the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec), and members of ICS Board of Trustees and Board of Directors.

School principal Derek Griffin paid tribute to the graduating class and their parents, praising the graduates for their outstanding performance. In his keynote address, managing director Mohammed Al Shamma congratulated the graduates.

He highlighted the remarkable progress made by the ICS to translate its goals of excellence and high quality education into reality, expressing his thanks and gratitude to the country’s leadership and Abu Dhabi authorities, mainly Adec for their continued support to develop the educational sector. The International Community School fosters a high standard of education from KG through to Grade 12.
