In yet another example, Dubai Civil Defence arrived at an accident spot and managed to put out a fire in record time. 
The firefighters extinguished a fire that erupted at an under-construction building in Palm Jumeirah on Thursday morning. According to eyewitnesses, a small fire broke out within the storage area of the One Palm development in Dubai. 
The operations room of the Dubai Civil Defence was alerted about the fire at around 10.50am. The firefighters from Al Marsa and Al Barsha stations rushed to the site immediately, and reached there at 11:03 am.
The firefighters found heavy smoke billowing from the building and managed to rescue four workers trapped in the fire.
Within minutes, by 11.14am, the fire was brought under control and cooling operations began. The Dubai Civil Defence spokesperson said that the fire was moderate and no one was injured.
Dubai Media Office also tweeted about the incident.
