A 63-year-old high school Arab teacher has been referred to the public prosecution on Thursday by the Kalba Police for sending indecent WhatsApp messages to one of his female student.
Police source in Kalba told Khaleej Times, that the father of the Grade 12 student lodged a complaint against the teacher who sent several indecent messages using obscene language to his daughter asking her to have an affair with him.
The police reviewed the messages and interrogated the student who told the police that the teacher was giving her English tuitions, as she was weak in the subject and needed to improve in order to do better in her exams. However, when she realised that the teacher was impolite and vulgar in his conversations with her, she decided to stop taking classes from her.
He then started to send her messages on WhatsApp. The police arrested the teacher who confessed his crime during interrogation. He has been referred to the public prosecution.
