The 5-day show, seeking to highlight Dubai's status as a global marine capital by attracting scores of superyachts, new launches and renowned yachting brands, will attract more than 29,000 visitors to the city.
Dubai Canal, the new site for the show, has allowed organisers to create an event that aims to provide greater opportunities for partners and exhibitors to showcase new luxury superyachts, sailing boats, fishing vessels, water stunts and cutting-edge industry technology.
The Dubai Canal's 3.2-kilometre-long waterway runs from the creek in Old Dubai through Business Bay and into the Arabian Gulf. Since its opening in 2016, Dubai Canal has further established Dubai as a world-class maritime destination.
The show is now in its 26th year and will display the latest innovations in marine equipment and accessories alongside a programme of watersport stunts and demonstrations.
There will also be a 'Dive Middle East Exhibition', hands-on sailing and boating experiences, a super car promenade and a retail village.
The show will display the world's first electricity-powered catamaran, the 72-metre long superyacht Serenity and will have a host of launches from leading yacht makers.
