Watch: Experience a sneak peak into Bollywood Parks Dubai

Bollywood Parks Dubai is taking shape in Dubai and is set to open doors in the next six months.
The first park of its kind in the world will bring five fascinating zones where visitors will experience different environments inspired by the greatest Bollywood blockbusters, Dubai Parks and Resorts chief destination management officer Vinit Shah told Khaleej Times.
"Nothing like this exists anywhere in the world. So we are very proud of it. It will comprise all things dedicated to Bollywood such as entertainment, food, action, colour, celebrations, etc," Shah explained.
The park is part of the Dh10.5 billion Dubai Parks and Resorts, which is set to open in October this year. The entire development is spread across 25 million sqft of land located on Sheikh Zayed Road and expected to host 6.7 million ticketed visits in 2017.
Responding a question, he said: "We don't talk about every theme park separately, but the whole development is set to open in October this year."
Visitors will experience a vibrant celebration of Mumbai's famous film industry at this unique attraction with live performances, themed restaurants and cinematic rides. Bollywood Parks Dubai will recreate the Bollywood experience through themed attractions and rides spread across five zones: Bollywood Boulevard, Mumbai Chowk, Rustic Ravine, Royal Plaza and Bollywood Film Studios featuring Hall of Heroes.
Bollywood Parks Dubai is also home to the stunning 850-seater Rajmahal Theatre that will play host to a separately ticketed Broadway-style, Bollywood-themed musicals several times a week.
"Area development and landscaping is being done at Bollywood park. Rajmahal Theatre is nearly completed and final finishing touches are being done on a couple of things," Shah explained. Keeping in mind a lot of attractions at Bollywood Park, it won't be possible to enjoy everything in a day. That's the reason the management has announced annual pass priced at Dh755.
He said the park has 16 rides and attractions and all of these attractions are based on blockbuster movies such as Sholay, Mughal-e-Azam, Krrish, Shah Rukh Khan's Don and Amir Khan's Lagaan, among others.
In addition, there will be Broadway-style live shows with fine dinging (at a separate price) in Rajmahal Theatre. "At the work we have seven stages and 30 shows, Shah said.
Dubai Parks and Resorts is set to be the region's largest integrated theme park destination. It will comprise of three theme parks - motiongate Dubai, a movie inspired theme park showcasing some of Hollywood's most beloved characters from DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Studios and Lionsgate; Bollywood Parks Dubai; Legoland Dubai, a unique, interactive theme park for families which will bring the well-known Lego brick to life in a playful learning environment; and Legoland Water Park, the region's first water park catering to families with children aged two to 12.
The entire destination will be connected by Riverland Dubai - a retail, dining and entertainment walkway located at the heart of the destination and guests can stay at the Lapita Hotel, a Polynesian-themed resort catering to families, which will be managed by the Marriott Group.
